The 29th edition of the Santiago Bernabéu Trophy will take place on Wednesday 29 August and will pitt Real Madrid against Sporting Lisboa, who have never participated in the competition and will look to take the Trophy to Portugal.
A worthy rival against whom Real Madrid played in the 1910s in a friendly match, and years later in the UEFA Cup and in the Champions League. Real Madrid won every fixture.

Tomorrow's match comes shortly after Real Madrid's brilliant victory over Atletico Madrid on Saturday. The Whites' phenomenal display of quality football thrilled all Madridismo. Real Madrid's game is exciting, with its precise long passes, cohesion on the pitch, professional pride, and chances on goal.

SPORTING'S YOUTH SYSTEM
Sporting Lisboa have a great history, but above all, they have the best youth system in Portugal, which has produced players such as Figo, Simao, Cuaresma, Cristiano Ronaldo and Namí.
Its hard for a team to be deprived of players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Namí and get back on its feet again quickly, but Sporting have managed to keep Moutinho, another of their great talented players, despite several offers made for him by European Clubs.
A QUALITY RIVAL
Sporting have several excellent players, such as midfielders Veloso, Rogmanoli, Izmaikov and the aforementioned Moutinho, who are all extremely creative and share playmaking roles on the team. Their defence is practically impregnable, with Derlei and Liedson as true nightmare defenders.
The Portugese side are a quality team, capable of stealing the ball easily from their rivals and keeping it fiercely in their possession. They have extremely technical players, many of which are internationals with their national teams. Sporting will be a tough nut to crack for Real Madrid. Let the show begin!
